Peacefully located in a cul de sac with beautiful rural views, this attractive cottage is an ideal base for discovering Dorset s atmospheric Jurassic Coast. The stunning Lulworth Cove and the dramatic Stair Hole are just half a mile away. Nearby attractions include the natural arch of Durdle Door (1.5 miles) and the Lulworth Estate’s Fossil Forest (0.5 miles). Local beaches to enjoy include Worbarrow Beach (3 miles), Kimmeridge Bay (8.5 miles) and Ringstead Bay (11 miles). There are many attractions inland including the impressive Lulworth Castle (2.5 miles), the Tank Museum (6.5 miles) and Monkey World (6 miles). The popular town of Wareham (9 miles) has plenty of great places to eat and drink, or you could head to Dorchester (13 miles) a town famous for its links to Thomas Hardy.
On entering this bright and inviting cottage, you will find yourself in the comfortable lounge, which is a lovely space for relaxing in, with plenty of seating, TV/DVD, iPod dock, Hi-Fi and a wood burner. French doors lead from the lounge into the garden. Stepping into the spacious and stylish kitchen/diner you will find an attractive dining area which is perfect for enjoying a family meal. The farmhouse style kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and has French doors to the garden. The washing machine and dryer are stored in the utility room. There is also a ground floor WC. Heading upstairs you will find three cosy bedrooms. There are two double rooms, each with a 6 bed and en suite shower rooms with shower and WC. There’s also a twin room as well as a bathroom complete with a bath and WC.
You can enjoy an alfresco meal in the back garden which has a paved terrace, outdoor furniture and a lawn with raised beds and shrubs. Off-road parking is available for two cars.

Lulworth is a quaint village with many traditional cottages. The village is full of shops and restaurants. Lulworth Cove is a horse-shoe shaped cove. The cove formed 10,000 years ago by the power of river and sea and is a pebble beach and very sheltered. Visit the Heritage Centre and learn about the smugglers. Taste the delights of a traditional Dorset fudge and sweetshop. Relax in the tea garden and ice cream parlour in the lane leading down to the cove. From here you are within walking distance of Durdle Door. Or, visit Durdle Door by boat. Lulworth has 3 pubs, The Castle Inn, Man O War which is dog friendly, and the Lulworth Cove Inn. The pubs are very popular in the summer months, so it would be advisable to phone ahead. The shingle beach at Durdle Door can shelve in places but the beach has excellent water quality. You will also find the ever-popular Durdle Door Ice Cream Kiosk. East Lulworth is a short 5-minute drive away or travel west and discover Ringstead.
Camp Bestival takes place at Lulworth Castle in East Lulworth every year from the end of July for 3 days. With face painting, bouncy castles to medieval jousting, there is plenty to do and see. There are four main stages for the music acts which are jam-packed over three days. There are DJ sets, comedy, theatre and shows, attractions and activities and plenty of food. If you are looking for a festival that is for all the family and diverse then look no further. Lulworth Castle is set in the stunning grounds of the Lulworth Estate. The historic castle, restored by English Heritage after a devastating fire, is open all year round. In the grounds, there are woodland walks and a children's playground.
