Description

A charming grade ll listed, thatched cottage, located in the quaint village of Wool, just two miles from Monkey World and a short drive from Lulworth Cove and the ghost village of Tyneham. There is so much to explore down on the Jurassic Coast. If the beach life is more of an attraction, then why not head over to Sandbank for the day via the chain ferry at Studland.

Through the front door of this enchanting cottage, you enter into a cosy lounge full of character with comfy sofas and a TV. This is an ideal space to relax in, after a long day exploring the South Coast. Head into the kitchen/diner equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge. The dining area offers enough seating for the whole family. The family bathroom with shower over bath and WC can also be found on the ground floor, the shower and utility room with shower, toilet, washing machine and freezer just beyond. Head up to the first floor, where you will find all three bedrooms. The king-size bedroom is first, accessed up a few steps with views over the garden at the rear of the cottage, the double bedroom can be found at the front of the cottage, located opposite is the twin room with two 4ft beds.

There is an amazing outdoor area to complement this wonderful cottage, relax in the garden furniture and enjoy the pretty rear garden. There is off-street parking at the front of the house for up to two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Wool

Wool is a small and peaceful village near Bovington and Wareham. Dotted with quaint thatched cottages, this village is very photogenic. The River Frome runs through here and on the banks you can spot the 17th-century Woolbridge Manor where "Tess of the D'ubervilles spent her honeymoon night in the Thomas Hardy novel. There is a convenience store here and 2 pubs. Visit The Tank Museum a little drive away, in Bovington. Discover how the tanks advanced through the years, experience an action display and take a ride in a tank. For those who enjoy walking, pick up the Lawerence of Arabia trail. Explore the flat, 7 mile trail and stop for refreshments in the tea rooms along the way at Moreton. West Lulworth and Durdle Door are within driving distance.
